it's coming

yeah - spring is coming...but that snow - darn it, it just won't give up.

i was home for easter and on tuesday morning it snowed like 4 inches. sick. but this week is supposed to be pretty darn nice. maybe that means we will get to start practising rugby and it will be awesome. but we're not there yet...close but not quite.

easter was pretty good. my sister and finn came in for the weekend. it was really neat to see finn again. he's such a beautiful kid. and holden was darn cute too. finn doesn't understand "gentle" yet and would appear to want to gauge young holden's eyes out - just because he is none the wiser. hopefully when rhonda has her second in september, finn will have learnt what "gentle" means.

i was up to edmonton thursday and friday for my dad and step-mom's easter thing (30+ people) and then back down to my mom's for the rest of the weekend. i got quite a bit of rest and happened to pick up a sinus cold somewhere along the way. i'm feeling pretty lousy right now but i'm trying to push through it. i don't get sick very often so i tend not to handle these yuk-sick feelings very well.

this morning, for the second time, i officially delivered a message to an audience. it was to Bearspaw Christian High School. i talked about risk (refer to dan's site) and scaredy squirrel and it went quite well. i had fun - which says a lot for me. i never used to like talking infront of people in a formal sense (goofing around is a whole other story). anyways, i'll sign off for now and leave you with a picture of finn and another pic i took a couple weeks ago.

peace out

  1. Yay spring! And with spring comes summer. And with summer comes the beginning of my first ever full summer of camp. Oh what fun we will have. The adventures, the laughs, the tears, the puking children, and the tears that come from the puking children. But mostly the laughs...right?
Mmm... I can hardly wait. I bought a new set of scrubs especially for the occasion (Dark colours will be necessary).
    Love you babe!
